Bear with a sore head

from THE SQUALL by Damned Men

/

lyrics

Kneeling down to collect the skin from my back, knees creaking like the trees.
Fur pours from the holes in my face, fresh teeth are pushing through.
Now the streets reach the edge of my cave, a grim fate awaits this town, I's bearing down.

A thick cloak of brand new hair, decorated with feathers and dirt.
Seduced by the sound and confused by the lights, it appears i've lost my way.
Doctors, Priests and women depraved scatter hastily as i cast shadows on the sun.

Farmers reach for their rifles, loading tombstone bullets from their coats, lining up like a stone wall.
I show no fear with a grunt, i am the bear with a sore head, i am the fear that gathers in their guts.

The gap in man and beast shrinks quickly when dodging sparks of lead with heed.
With glimmering eyes i pick the flesh and bones from my teeth.
